Artist's Comments

I have included three other images of the top, middle, and bottom portions of this painting to give a better look at the detail. The text on the bottom reads "The Physical Plane: A Self-Perpetuating Continuum of Birth and Death; Growth and Decay; Reproduction and Dissolution..."

Wow, that's really creepy and cool. I love the way that there is so litttle negative space in this picture. There are so many things to look at, but they're all unified. I mean, they don't seem like a bunch of random things thrown into one picture, they definately go. The colour scheme is really fantastic, though occasionally the colouring's a bit blotchy in places, such as the purple lady-thing's chest and on her orange tongue... (and I'm only saying this because you have "opted to encourage critique-heavy comments", so I thought I should be a little mean). Awesome picture!
Thanks! The color's blotchy only because I used the cheapest paints I could get as I'm on a limited budget. Oh well.
this is really amazing. you must have a lot of patience.
holy shit am i happy to see something new from you... i'm going to have to come back and space out at this later.

Perhaps a ride on the salamander will calm you down...
Thanks man, much appreciated.
you get a big ol' WOW. this is amazing! the style reminds me a lot of the day of the dead type artwork. how long did this take you?
i have no idea... i worked on it for about three months, but some weeks not at all, and some weeks every day...
i know, i always think that's a silly question when people ask me, but i think it's just the natural thing to ask when you see something so complex. awesome job though

yes all things are tied together
all things are linked by twisted patterns
yes once again you have spawned some serious psychedelic visions
thanx for tying thangs together through your visionary painting
